Industrial symbiosis is a key component of the circular economy, as it embodies the principles of resource efficiency, waste minimization, and the creation of closed-loop systems.

Industrial symbiosis enables collaboration between different industries. The goal is to convert each other's by-products, waste materials, energy, water, and other resources into valuable inputs for the other industry in order to achieve mutual benefits and reduce the overall environmental impact.

You are invited to participate on the Industrial Symbiosis Standardization Roadmap and its Kick-Off Meeting on March 28th.

The Roadmap is organized by CEN and CENELEG together with DIN under the European Horizon 2020 project  “RISERS - A Roadmap for Industrial Symbiosis Standardisation for Efficient Resource Sharing.
